Abstract

Throughout health, the epidemic opens up new areas for researchers in the field of health expenditures, health care supply and demand, and their impact on the economy in economic science. It is observed that an increasing number of studies are being conducted on economic inferences on issues such as health and the epidemic, which have recently gained a social dimension. The aim of this study was to examine 237 graduate theses written on the subject of "Health" in the field of economic science by the method of bibliometric analysis. The postgraduate theses within the scope of the review were subjected to bibliometric analysis in terms of various parameters. As a result of the analyzes, the most theses are in the Turkish language, the most theses are in 2021, there are more women thesis authors, the most theses are in Marmara University, Prof.dr. intensive promotion consultants are more often made of the thesis work is mainly in the range between 101-150 page where more of the state universities, mostly quantitative research method is preferred, most studies in the Department of economics of the thesis and the subject yielded results that are most associated with health expenditures. As a result, it is observed that Health-related studies are increasingly being conducted in the field of economics today and an interest is being formed. With this study, it aims to contribute to the literature on the economic effects of the issue of Health and to guide the scientists who will be conducting the study
