Abstract

Organizations are constantly in search of effectiveness and efficiency in order to survive in an intensely competitive environment, to achieve success in line with their own goals, and to achieve the highest performance. This situation obliges the employees of the organization to manage the network of relations in organizational life well in order to work together in line with the goals and interests of the organization. The aim of this research is to examine the mediating effect of organizational trust on perceived organizational support to feel disengaged from the business. In addition, whether there is a direct effect between perceived organizational support and organizational trust, organizational trust and feeling of being unemployed, and perceived organizational support were also discussed within the scope of the research. The data of the study were obtained from 486 people working in the aviation ground services, technical department, administrative department, cabin crew and various management staff of companies operating in the civil aviation sector in our country, working in and around Istanbul, and these data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. The analyzes in our research were made using the SmartPLS 3.2.9 program. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the perceived organizational support had a positive effect on the feeling of being self-employed and organizational trust played a mediating role in this effect.
