ANALYSIS OF NEWS CATEGORIES IN ZONGULDAK LOCAL PRESS

Abstract

With this study, Zonguldak local press was handled within the context of the newspapers that received official announcements and it was tried to determine the type and category of news content in Zonguldak press. In addition, news contents of Zonguldak press were analyzed in categories and statistical data were tried to be measured. With the data obtained from the research; Zonguldak local press was analyzed in detail in terms of content type and content category. A regular data source has been created by examining content types such as news, video, columns and content categories such as sports, life, world, economy, magazine, politics, education, technology and health one by one. The study was prepared with the data obtained from the news of 5 different newspapers operating in the province of Zonguldak.
