The aim of this article is to analyse the place of aid and humanitarianism in Turkish foreign policy and the current situation of Turkey-Somalia relations, and to discuss Turkey's opening policy in Africa in the changing world order with a special focus on Somalia. In the study, it has been observed that Turkey's aid to Somalia has more positive effects although it is more limited compared to other big states. The reason for this is that factors such as common history, belonging to the same religion and the absence of a colonial past are understood to be the different interpretation of the concept of humanitarianism in Turkey's foreign policy compared to other states. In this article, which was prepared with the content analysis method within the framework of the concept of humanitarianism, the positive and negative effects of Turkey's choice of individualism while providing aid, as well as the reactions it received in the international arena as a result of its positive and negative effects, as well as the results of being extremely active in the structuring of the Somali nation power are also discussed.
