Because of globalization and developments in information and communication technologies, competition conditions for businesses are gradually changing. Operations that increasing productivity, pulling and retaining qualified workforce bceome importance. Therefore, performance assesments are needed to determine the efficiency of processes and employees in production. Recently, information technologies and systems have been used extensively in performance assesment and all other business processes and investments have been increasing in this area. The digital transformation of businesses becomes necessary and is among their strategic goals. SME’s which have an important place in the country’s economy and face to many problems as well as their advantages, get their share from this transformation process. The aim of the study is to search the effects of the using of information systems on performance assesment. For this purpose, the system used in the performance assesmentof an SME operating in Konya has been examined. According to results; it has been found that the data entered manually in documents before are entered electronically on the tablets used by employees. Thanks to it has been determined that the system providing benefits in business process planning and monitoring, quality control, employee performance assesment, cost analysis and data management.
