Abstract

With the continuous increase of the population, the need for energy used increases at this rate. Continuous consumption of resources poses a danger to the future. As a result of the search that emerged with the insufficiency of fossil fuels used today, the use of renewable energy resources has emerged. Renewable energy source is defined as being able to renew itself at a rate equal to the energy taken from the energy source or faster than the depletion rate of the resource. It is not possible to be consumed permanently by living things. When viewed from the environment, economy and social fields, it is seen that the connections between this concept and each other are related to "sustainable" connections. There is detailed information about the use of solar energy, wind energy, hydroelectric energy, wave energy, biomass energy and geothermal energy, which are among the renewable energies.
