Risk Assessment and Control in the Metal Workshop of a Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School

Abstract

Developing and constantly changing technological developments in Turkey and in the world have further increased the importance of occupational health and safety studies in the field of metal technology, which we can say is a major source of employment, as in all industrial business lines.

In this field, where metal and metal alloys are hot and cold processed and shaped, the occupational health and safety of the employees are classified as dangerous or very dangerous in terms of working conditions.In this application project, the tools and machines in the Metal Technology workshops of a Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School were examined, and the risk assessment analysis and emergency plans regarding the possible hazards were examined.
