Pedro Almodovar, a film director who has succeeded in reaching the universal by setting out from Spain, has repetitive and original elements in his works like every Autéur. These elements, which were present in almost all the films of the artist, ensure that the Almodovar Cinema is recognized at first glance. The artist's 2021 film “Parallel Mothers” contains almost all of these characteristics. In our study, which we aim to determine the common elements in the Almodovar Cinema by examining the “Parallel Mothers”, we add depth to the research by giving examples from director’s other films. In other words, the research addresses the common elements of Almodovar Cinema in the sample of a single film. Some of the General Characteristics of Almodovar Films are “The Cinema Nostalgie”, “Autobiographical Reflections of Director Himself”, “Modernist Expansions in Aesthetics”,“Selecting the Pratagonists from the Women”, “Outsiders as Main Characters”, “Spain’s Being Selected as the Venue” “Depiction of Topics’ being selected from Country’s Daily Life”, “The Cinematography”, “The Conscious Choices in Production Design and Color Arrangements” and “The Extraordinary Stories of Ordinary People”. Pedro Almodovar re-updated his stereotypical production style in his movie “Parallel Mothers” and created a masterpiece again. We examine this last film of Pedro Almodovar, who has become the pride of Contemporary European Cinema, in the context of “Paralel Mothers”s place in his filmography.
