Abstract

Abstract:This research covers the hotels that constitute an important part of the tourism sector, which is a labor-intensive sector, and the personnel working in these hotels, and this research has tried to reveal the factors affecting job satisfaction, the effects of tourists' attitudes and behaviors on the job satisfaction, performance and productivity of the personnel in their work. The population of the research consists of the personnel working in the hotels in the province of Van. In the research, it was tried to reach the whole universe. The research is a quantitative research; Questionnaire technique was used in the research. The data of this research were collected by questionnaires consisting of the demographic characteristics of the employees, their statements about job satisfaction and the statements of the employees about tourists. As a result of the research, it has been revealed that the factors affecting job satisfaction have an effect on the employees and that the positive or negative attitudes and behaviors of tourists can have positive or negative results on hotel employees.
