Panic disorder is an anxiety disorder that disrupts the functionality of the individual, which occurs anywhere in any place with sudden, repetitive, fearful panic attacks, and feels extremely and intense anxiety about the attacks that he will live or live in the future. Due to these concerns, changes in one's behavior in a way that will prevent or try to escape from them. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy based on the theory that one's thoughts, perspective, and perception of events and it cause emotions and behaviors of individual. It is a therapy method used in the treatment of various disorders such as mood, personality disorders, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. Cognitive behavioral therapy is accepted as a method applied in panic disorder as well as other anxiety disorders. In this case presentation, a 48-year-old, married female patient, which shows symptoms of panic disorders according to DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, was tried to be handled by cognitive behavioral therapy method. For this purpose, a behavioral method was used to cope with the symptoms of panic attacks and a cognitive approach was used instead of misinterpretation of body emotions.
